( God will take vengeance for us! @ 11:52 AM )

How often do you want to 'get even'? Proverbs 20:10 "The Lord despises double standards of every kind'. Romans 12:17-19 "Never pay back evil to anyone. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you're honourable. Do your part to live in peace with everyone as much as possible... never avenge yourselves. Leave that to God. For it is written, "I will take vengeance, I will repay those who deserve it," says the Lord'. How often do we see evil around us and pray for God's justice? We wonder why does God allow this evil to go on! This kind of thinking leads to 2 standards:- 1) judging others more harshly than we judge ourselves & 2) believing God should judge others but remain lenient with us. The Lord despises double standards because they elevate one person at the expense of others. These man-made standards lack the mercy of God. When we remember that God's patience and mercy block His judgement towards us, we will more likely show others patience and mercy. Lord give me strength to replace judgement with mercy.

( New Things! @ 9:52 PM )

New Things! Phil 3:13-14, "Forgetting what is behind & straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus'. Our pat can be a hindrance or a help in moving toward God's purpose for each of us. For some, the past has meant pain and heartache, and grace is required so that we do not let our past dictate our responses to the future. If we allow our past to make us a victim, then we have not entered into the grace that God has for us. Isaiah 43:19 'See I'm doing a new thing! Now it springs up, do you not perceive it? I'm taking an way in the desert and streams in the wasteland'. God is always doing new things in our lives. He gives fresh revelation of His purpose in our lives. So do not hold onto bitterness or negative thoughts that may hinder God from doing new & exciting things in your life. HE turns our wastelands into streams of water to give life.
My prayer to you:-
Father, You are the Creator and Ruler over everything that exists, every good and perfect goft comes from You. Thank You Jesus for shedding Your precious Blood and dying on the Croiss to purchase for me the gift of Eternal Life and Your Perfect Sacrifice which provides constant intercession so I can go before the Throne of Grace to receive mercy and forgiveness in time of need. Help me to be quick to recognize and confess my sins and Thank You for making a way for the Holy Spirit to become part of my life. I ask You Hoily Spirit to organize my day, deliver me from evil, and to teach me to renew my mind and use what I learn form You today to bear fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness and self-control. In Faith I believe You bring blessings into my life and equip me for the good works established for me to fulfil by Grace. FATHER I ask You these requests and thank You and praise You in Jesus' Name!
