( Friends with God @ 12:05 PM )

Through Christ's sacrifice, our past is pardoned and our future is secure. And, "since we have been made wight with God by our faith, we have the peace of God" - Romans 5:1.
Peace with God. What a happy consequence of faith! Not just peace between countries, peace between neighbors or peace at home; salvation brings peace with God . .
God is no longer a foe, but a friend. We are at peace with Him.

( One @ 9:02 PM )

One song can spark the moment,
One flower can wake a dream.
One tree can start a forest,
One bird can herald a spring.
One smile can begins a friendship,
One handclasp lifts a soul.
One star can guide a ship at the sea,
One word can frame a goal.
One vote can change a nation,
One sunbeam lights a room.
One candle wipes out darkness,
One laugh will conquer gloom.
One step must start each journey,
One word must start each prayer.
One hope will raise our spirits,
One touch can show you care.
One voice can speak wisdom,
One heart can know whats true.
One life can make the difference,
And may that ONE be YOU.

( Forgiveness Frees the Soul @ 10:07 PM )

Is there any emotion that imprisons the soul more than the unwillingness to forgive? What do you do when people mistreat you or those you love? Does the fire of anger boil within you, with leaping flames, consuming your emotions? Or do you reach somewhere, to some source of cool water and pull out a bucket of mercy - to free yourself?
Don't get on the roller coaster of resentment and anger. You be the one who says, "Yes, he mistreated me, but I am going to be like Christ." I'll be the one who says, "Forgive them, Father they don't know what they're doing."

( Prayer Reminds Us @ 10:14 PM )

Prayer is the recognition that if God had not engaged himself in our problems, we would still be lost in the blackness. It is by His mercy that we have been lifted up. Prayer is that whole process that reminds us of who God is and who we are.
I believe there's great power in prayer. I believe God heals the wounded, and that He can raise the dead. But I don't believe we tell God what to do and when to do it.
God knows that we, with our limited vision, don't even know that for which we should pray. When we entrust our requests to Him, we trust Him to honor our prayers with holy judgment.

( @ 10:23 PM )

Whatever you need, God has it. Draw from Him and let His creative wisdom flow through you. Allow His creativity to bloom in your life. It will produce solutions, hope, confidence and healing. Creativity is energized in you when you come to Christ. When you need an answer, you have in through Him. Tap into it. Exercise and use it. It's yours - Col 1:9-22.

( God is a Healer! @ 9:38 PM )

I really want to thank God for His faithfulness upon my life. On 29 May I went to the doctor for my monthly medical checkup and the doctor told me that I have IBS (Irritation Bowel Syndrome) and my doctor wanted to admit me to do few blood test and do a major operation but I refused to be admitted because on 03 June I have to leave for Malacca for the Annual Family Camp as an advance party. I told my doctor I'm going for my church camp after my church I come and visit you so he schedule an appointment for today as I went to the doctor he examined me and he said I don't have to go for an operation already just have to do another test which he had schedule on 25 June. I really want to thank God for His healing upon my life and I know it is definite God because He is our healer.

( His Presence Make The Difference @ 9:43 PM )

The christian life is not a bed of roses - and it was never designed to be. The same things that happens to others happen to us: crippling illnesses, layoffs at work, family struggles, car accidents, unexpected bills, and on and on.
During those times, we often wonder, "Why does God let this to happen? Why should I be"punished" as though I'm doing something wrong, when I'm trying to do what is right?" The Bible never answers these questions, even in the book of Job, in which a man who lived close to God's heart encountered tremendous hardships. The Bible simply tell us how to respond to hardships - positively, properly and biblically.
The Scriptures also give words of comfort. In Psalms 23:4, David declares, "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me." David had in mind the worst darkness that a flock of sheep would encounter - a deep ravine between two mountains and a narrow pass among the rocks. This is where the wolves would luck and snakes would hide to attack the sheep as they came along. To protect a flock a shepherd always carried two things -
a rod and staff. The rod was about two feet long and had a round knot on the end. The staff was much longer and had a rounded hook on the end. He could use this to swing branches out of the way or to pull a sheep out of a hole. From the sheep's perspective, the best protection was the presence of God.
As David reflects upon His own relationship to God as that of a sheep to the good Shepherd, he recognizes a similiar truth. When we experience troubles, it's the presence of the Shepherd that makes a difference.
Those around us need to see when we go through hard times, we don't have all the answers. But we have Jesus Christ - the ONE to whom we are personally related. He is there, uplifting, encouraging, guiding and loving us through anything we face. He will not abandon us. In fact, in times of trouble, He will be the closets He's ever been. James 4:8 encourages us, "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you."
God presence make the difference between those who stand up and those who fold up when hard times hit. We are able to go on - not because we don't feel the pain, but because we feel the comfort of His Presence. When we go through hard times, God does not promise answers, but He does promise His presence.

( Eagle @ 9:42 PM )

Did you know that an eagle knows when a storm is approaching long before it breaks?
The eagle will fly to some high spot and wait for the winds to come. When the storm hits, it sets its wings so that the wind will pick it up and lift it above the storm. While the storm rages below, the eagle is soaring above it. The eagle does not escape the storm. It simply uses the storm to lift it higher. It rises on the winds that bring the storm.
When the storms of life come upon us - and all of us will experience the - we can rise above them by setting our minds and our belief toward God. The storms do not have to overcome us. We can allow God's power to lift us above them.
God enables us to ride the winds of storm that bring sickness, tragedy, failure, disappointment in our lives. We can soar above the storm.
Remember, it is not the burdens of life that weigh us down, it is how we handle them.
The Bible says, "Those who HOPE in the Lord will RENEW their STRENGTH. They will SOAR on wings like eagles." - Isaiah 40:31

( Governed by Love @ 11:13 AM )

Jesus spoke of freedom, but He spoke of a different kind of freedom: the type of freedom that comes not through power but through submission. Not through control but through surrender. Not through possessions but through open hands.
God wants to emancipate His people; He wants to set them free. He wants His people to be not salves but sons.He wants them governed not by law but by love.
We have been liberated from our own guilt and our own legalism. We have the freedom to pray and the freedom to love the God of our heart. And we have been forgiven by the only one who could condemn us. We are truly free.
